Chris Volbrecht is an experienced entrepreneur in all facets of the seed agribusiness space in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the last decade he has played a pivotal role in the launch of a successful seed start-up, Lake Agriculture, covering various management portfolios during the company’s year-on-year growth and noteworthy establishment in various African countries.

With a specific interest in crop genetics and breeding, Chris will continue research and product development for select markets and crops.

In his spare time, his latest hobby includes attending to his growing beef cattle venture, currently a terminal cross herd, including Senepol/ Tuli/ Hereford/ Simmentaler, et al.
